Links between the fundamentalism of the 1920's & the far right wing of the Republican party and evangelical ?

Tons of ignorance and hatred. They both like to use ancient books of fiction(bible) to justify their hatred. Both appeal to lowest of the low of society: uneducated, racists, s, xenophobes, red necks, inbreeders, criminals, etc....
