Does anyone remember the name of this movie or have a way of finding it?

I remember watching a movie years ago that was made in the 80s or 90s. Bob Saget starred as the father of two young boys. His ex-wife was re-married to a psycho military man and had partial custody of the boys. Throughout the movie, Bob Saget is fighting to gain full custody, however, his efforts come too late. At the end of the movie, the boys are in the back of a Bronco with the mother and step father in a police chase. The movie ends when the step father blows up the car. Bob Saget is of course distraught and the very end shows him at the funeral. I am almost certain that this was a Lifetime movie. I have googled, looked at Wikipedia and many, many other sites.
