Jehovah's Witnesses could you please explain this?

its clear that the context of the world near does not mean distance. It has to do with relationship. for example if u are in a crowd the people would be close to you. but that does not mean you are best friends with them, like if you said, my friend and I are close. its the same with Jehovah being near.
